Prompting Techniques for People in Tax (PTPT) is a small, practical guide I’ve put together to make that gap smaller: from “this model seems powerful” to “here’s how I can use it on today’s tax problem”.

Instead of generic AI tips, PTPT focuses on situations tax professionals actually face – reviewing treatments, drafting technical notes, checking edge cases, or summarising guidance. The techniques are drawn from research-backed prompting methods, then adapted into plain, repeatable patterns you can reuse in your own work.

It’s not a grand theory of AI, just a collection of things I’ve found genuinely useful and wanted to share. If you’re curious about AI but short on time, I hope PTPT gives you a few reliable starting points.
